Il Miglio d'oro è un tratto della SS 18 Tirrena inferiore che storicamente va dal quarto miglio posto ai piedi della Villa De Bisogno di Casaluce, su Corso Resina 189 a Ercolano , fino a Palazzo Vallelonga,a Torre del Greco.
Attualmente si intende con Miglio d'oro il tratto della stessa strada che attraversa i quartieri napoletani di San Giovanni a Teduccio e Barra, proseguendo poi per i comuni di San Giorgio a Cremano, Portici ed Ercolano, ovverosia la lunga strada unica lunga circa quattro miglia che connette il Palazzo reale di Napoli con il Palazzo reale di Portici.
