De “bac” of “Fontaine Saint-Jean” is een bron die eeuwenlang dienst heeft gedaan als wasbak.
Ook vandaag nog komen verschillende dorpsbewoners hier water halen.
Deze bron voedde de beek die de molen van de leenheer deed draaien, en zorgde ook voor het water in de slotgracht van het eerste kasteel, dat verdwenen is.
Het reliëf van het weiland rechts laat u de locatie raden. Dit heel oude kasteel had twee stenen en twee houten verdiepingen en werd omringd door een slotgracht.
