A la rue de Béhogne a Rochefort hi ha l' ajuntament , un exemple d'eclectisme (mesclar diferents estils arquitectònics en un conjunt graciós).
Ha ser construït l'any 1862 , enmig d'un trastorn socioeconòmic. L'edifici és molt original. De diversos neoestils , té una gran escala a l'exterior i una escala flanquejada per una torre una mica semblant als campanars del passat. L' escut està representat per les armes de la casa de Walcourt, senyors de Rochefort als segles XII i XIII .
El memorial de guerra davant de l'ajuntament es va erigir en memòria de les víctimes de les dues guerres mundials.
