El Puig de Santa Maria, abans de 2012 reconegut oficialment com el Puig, és un municipi del País Valencià situat a la comarca de l'Horta Nord. Actualment té 8.670 habitants, dels quals 4.324 són hòmens i 4.346, dones .
Limita amb la Pobla de Farnals, Puçol i Rafelbunyol ; amb Albalat dels Tarongers, Sagunt i amb Nàquera .
