Gandia és una ciutat del País Valencià, capital de la comarca de la Safor. El seu terme municipal se situa al centre de la comarca, té una població de 75.798 habitants , encara que es calcula que la seua població flotant es troba entorn de les 100.000-120.000 persones, per la qual cosa es tracta de la setena ciutat més poblada i una de les més importants del País Valencià.
