Saint-Avertin és un municipi francès, situat al departament d'Indre i Loira i a la regió de Centre - Vall del Loira. El gentilici dels seus habitants és Saint-Avertinois.
Saint-Avertin es troba a l'oest del Centre - Vall del Loira, a la regió anomenada Turena. Es troba a pocs quilòmetres al sud de Tours, a la qual es pot arribar per mitjà de l'autopista A10. Altres municipis propers són Saint-Pierre-Des-Corps, Larçay o Chambray-Lès-Tours.
