Limós és un municipi francès, situat al departament de l'Aude i a la regió d'Occitània. És la capital del districte de Limós, del cantó de Limós i de la comarca del Rasès.Al lloc s'han trobat restes neolítiques. Hi ha també restes romanes. Apareix esmentada per primer cop en un diploma de Carles el Calb de meitat del 854. La vila va formar part dels dominis del comte de Rasès i després de Carcassona, i va ser ocupada per Simó de Montfort. Va passar a la corona francesa el 1296. El segle xviii va començar a prosperar, però és encara una ciutat petita.
