Montlluís , antigament el Vilar d'Ovança, és una vila i comuna catalana, a la comarca del Conflent. Administrativament, pertany a l'Estat francès. Es troba en les proximitats del coll de la Perxa, el pas natural entre la Cerdanya i el Conflent. Avui en dia, és coneguda per la fortalesa que hi va construir Vauban, amb el fi de protegir la nova frontera sorgida arran del Tractat dels Pirineus.
