La platja es troba al final del Chemin des Graniers , just a sota de la Ciutadella i després del Cimetière Marin , a uns 10 minuts a peu de la Place des Lices i del port.
És una badia natural amb sorra i petits còdols , majoritàriament envoltada de vegetació. L'aigua és cristal·lina i sovint protegida del vent. En algunes zones , presenta roques i petites cales verges (criques) que conviden a fer snorkel i explorar. El lloc conserva un encant salvatge , lliure de clubs de platja i turisme de masses. Tanmateix, en temporada alta, pot estar molt concorregut a causa de l'aforament limitat (aproximadament 80 metres de platja).
La badia és fotogràficament impressionant a la sortida o a la posta de sol , amb tons suaus, reflexos de llum i una costa salvatge que crea una atmosfera romàntica.
