Agrínion o Agrínio és la ciutat més gran de la Unitat perifèrica d'Etòlia-Acarnània, amb una població de 96.321 habitants. Encara que és el centre econòmic de la unitat perifèrica, la capital és Mesolongi Els inicis de la ciutat es remunten almenys fins a l'època de la Grècia Clàssica. La ciutat antiga de Agrinium o Agrínios estava a 3 km de la ciutat actual. Excavacions arqueològiques han desenterrat murs i restes d'edificis. Fins a 1836, la ciutat es coneixia com a Vrachori .
