Bærum és un municipi situat al comtat d'Akershus, Noruega. Té 122.348 habitants i té una superfície de 192 km². El centre administratiu del municipi és el poble de Sandvika. Bærum va ser establert com a municipi l'1 de gener de 1838. Als afores d'Oslo, Bærum es troba a la costa oest de la ciutat.
Bærum genera la renda per capita més gran de Noruega, i és el municipi amb més persones amb estudis universitaris de Noruega. Bærum, en particular els seus barris orientals que voregen el l'est d'Oslo, és considerat un dels municipis més bonics de Noruega i és on hi ha les zones residencials més de moda. El municipi ha estat escollit com el millor lloc per viure a Noruega tenint en compte la governabilitat i els serveis públics als ciutadans.
