El riu Prípiat, també transcrit de vegades com a Prypiat o Pripyat és un dels principals afluents del riu Dnièper, el més important per conca, que discorre generalment en direcció est a través de Bielorússia i Ucraïna. Té una longitud de 710 km i una conca hidrogràfica de 121000 km ².
Les principals ciutats que travessa són Pinsk i Mazir. També creua la zona d'exclusió establerta al voltant de la central nuclear de Txernòbil, el lloc on es va produir el desastre nuclear. És, per tant, un riu contaminat amb radioisòtops en què la concentració de cesi-137 en els seus sediments segueix incrementant-se. La ciutat de Prípiat, amb una població de 45.000 habitants, va haver de ser evacuada completament després del desastre de Txernòbil i és ara una ciutat fantasma.
