Loosdorf er en kommune i den østerriske delstat Neder-Ostenrig, beliggende i distriktet Melk, øst for kommunen Melk. Kommunen har cirka 3.800 indbyggere.
Der var fra ca. 1574 til 1627 et protestantisk gymnasium i Loosdorf, kaldet "die Hohe Schule". Der findes stadig to originale eksemplarer af vedtægterne for denne skole. Disse blev trykt i 1574 i Augsburg. Skolen henvendte sig især til børnene af den luthersk-sindede adel i Neder-Ostenrig, hvilket gjorde den unik i regionen, men den var ifølge vedtægterne også åben for ikke-adelige.
