Schoten er en kommune i den belgiske provins Antwerpen. Kommunen har over 34.000 indbyggere. Indbyggerne kaldes Schotenarer. Schoten er en grøn kommune, gennemsnitligt 10 km fra centrum af byen Antwerpen. Navnet Schoten stammer muligvis fra træskaller, som tidligere blev brugt til at afgrænse landbrugsjord: en sådan skal blev kaldt schot eller schoot. Dette ville også forklare oprindelsen af navnene Bikschote, Zuidschote, Noordschote; Hondschote, kommunen Voorschoten og den tidligere kommune Schoten i Nederlandene. Se dog -schote.
