Mechelen) er en centerby og kommune i den belgiske provins Antwerpen. Byen ligger i den sydlige del af provinsen, centralt mellem byerne Antwerpen og Bruxelles, ved floden Dijle. Mechelen har 86.911 indbyggere. Det er den sjette største by i Flandern efter antal indbyggere og den næststørste by i provinsen efter Antwerpen. Det er også den næststørste by ved Dijle, efter Leuven.
