Kommunen Bruxelles er hovedstaden i Belgien, i det Flandriske Fællesskab, det Franske Fællesskab og Bruxelles Hovedstadsregion. Kommunen har cirka 180.000 indbyggere, hvoraf cirka en tredjedel bor i det historiske Femkant, omkring halvdelen i den nordlige udvidelse, i bydelerne Laken, Neder-over-Heembeek og Haren, og resten i kvartererne omkring Louizalaan, Ter Kameren-skoven og i den østlige udvidelse, det Europæiske Kvarter, hvoraf størstedelen også tilhører kommunen.
