Eigenbrakel er en by og kommune i provinsen Vallonsk Brabant i Belgien. Kommunen har cirka 40.000 indbyggere, hvilket gør den til den eneste kommune i Vallonsk Brabant, der er større end provinsens hovedstad Waver. Det mest kendte monument er Løven fra Waterloo. "Eigen" i navnet henviser til et sol- eller friarv, en fri arv der ikke skyldes nogen noget. Denne betegnelse findes også i kommunenavnet Eigenbilzen. På latin er dette allodium, hvilket man finder i den franske betegnelse for denne kommune, nemlig Braine l'Alleud og i Pays de l'Alleu / Landet Alleuwe.
