Slaget ved Kortrijk, bedre kendt som Guldenstøvleslaget, blev kæmpet den 11. juli 1302 mellem militsen fra grevskabet Flandern og den franske hær under grev Artois med et nederlag for franskmændene. 500 par guldsporer blev samlet på slagmarken fra ligene af franske riddere og blev hængt op som trofæ i Vor Frue Kirke i Kortrijk.
