Sion er en schweizisk by, en kommune og hovedstaden i kantonen Valais og distriktet Sion. Pr. december 2018 havde den en befolkning på 34.708 ).
Den 17. januar 1968 blev den tidligere kommune Bramois sammenlagt med kommunen Sion. Den 1. januar 2013 blev den tidligere kommune Salins fusioneret med kommunen Sion, og den 1. januar 2017 gjorde Les Agettes det samme.
