Georgsmarienhütte er en mellemstor by og en selvstændig kommune i sydvest for Osnabrück amt i Niedersachsen. Dens mest betydningsfulde bygningsværk er den tidligere klosterkirke fra det 12. århundrede, der tilhørte det tidligere kloster Oesede i den nærliggende bydel.
Den "by i det grønne" ligger i Osnabrück-land mellem byen Osnabrück i nord og Teutoburger Wald i syd. Ved den sydlige grænse mod Bad Iburg ligger Dörenberg, der er 331 meter høj, og den højeste punkt i den niedersachsiske del af dette mellemfjeld. Naturmæssigt ligger Georgsmarienhütte dermed i Osnabrück Hügelland.
