Carpin er en kommune i Landkreis Mecklenburgische Seenplatte i det sydlige Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Den administreres af Amt Neustrelitz-Land med sæde i den ikke-amtlige by Neustrelitz.
Kommuneområdet i Carpin ligger i Naturpark Feldberger Seenlandschaft, den sydlige del med den 101 meter høje Galgenberg og Schweingartensee i den øst for Neustrelitz liggende del af Müritz-nationalparken. Udover Rödliner See, som ikke tilhører kommuneområdet, er området præget af mange andre søer, herunder Schweingartensee og Carpiner See inden for Mecklenburgische Seenplatte samt et kuperet, meget skovrigt landskab mod vest. Det højeste punkt i kommuneområdet er Serrahner Berge med 113,7 m over NHN.
