Leese er en medlemskommune i Samtgemeinde Mittelweser i Nienburg/Weser kommune i Niedersachsen ved Weser-floden.
Leese var en af de første bosættelser i Mittelweser-området. Arkæologiske fund peger på en bosættelse fra den yngre stenalder for omkring 4000 år siden i området omkring Leese. Indbyggerne dyrkede de lette blæsebåndsjord i øst for den nuværende landsby med primitive plove. Begravelsen af de afdøde fandt sted under hovederne af gravhøje. Omkring 20 gravhøje er blevet bekræftet, hvis alder estimeres til cirka 1800 år før Kristus. Yderligere bosættelser lå ved terrassekanten til Weser.
