Bütow er en kommune i sydvest for Landkreis Mecklenburgische Seenplatte i Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Den administreres af Amt Röbel-Müritz med sæde i byen Röbel/Müritz.
Kommune Bütow ligger i Mecklenburgische Seenplatte, øst for Elde-kilden i et bakket område, som maksimalt når 101 m over havets overflade. Kommunen omfatter den 54 hektar store Dambecker Sø og de betydeligt mindre vandområder, Karchower Sø og Wackstower Sø. Byen Röbel ligger cirka otte kilometer væk.
