Crossen an der Elster er en kommune i den nordøstlige del af Saale-Holzland-kredsen i Thüringen og er sæde for administrationsfællesskabet Heideland-Elstertal-Schkölen.
Crossen ligger tæt på Eisenberg ved udmundingen af Rauda i den Hvide Elster, ikke langt fra grænsen til Sachsen-Anhalt.
