Baruth/Mark omfatter dele af det Nedre Flamske og Baruther Urstromtal. Det ligger i direkte nærområde til Spreewald og cirka 40 kilometer fra den sydlige grænse af byen Berlin ved krydset af Bundesstraße 96 og 115.
Baruth/Mark grænser op til følgende kommuner: Am Mellensee, Zossen, Teupitz, Halbe, Rietzneuendorf-Staakow, Golßen, Steinreich, Dahme/Mark, Nedre Fläming, Nuthe-Urstromtal.
