Leinfelden-Echterdingen er en by i Baden-Württemberg, lige syd for delstatshovedstaden Stuttgart. Den tilhører regionen Stuttgart og den europæiske metropolregion Stuttgart.
Den i 1975 nydannede by i forbindelse med kommune reformen havde allerede ved sin grundlæggelse mere end 20.000 indbyggere. Derfor blev den allerede med virkning fra 1. juli 1976 en stor købstad. I dag er den efter Esslingen am Neckar, Filderstadt, Nürtingen og Kirchheim unter Teck den femtestørste by i distriktet Esslingen og tilhører mellembydelen Stuttgart inden for det samme overcenter.
