Oberotterbach er en bykommune i Landkreis Südliche Weinstraße i Rheinland-Pfalz. Den tilhører kommuneforeningen Bad Bergzabern; målt i areal er den den næststørste bykommune og målt i befolkningstal er den den femtestørste.
Byen ligger mellem Pfälzerwald og Rhinen i regionen Weinstraße. Den vestlige del af kommunen strækker sig ind i Wasgau, som også kaldes den sydlige del af Pfälzerwald og den tilgrænsende nordlige del af Vogeserne. Desuden er dette område en del af Oberen Mundatwald. Oberotterbach omfatter også boligområderne Brendelsmühle og Heidenbrunnenhof. Nabokommuner er - med uret - Dörrenbach, Kapellen-Drusweiler, Dierbach, Niederotterbach, Kapsweyer, Schweighofen, Schweigen-Rechtenbach, Bobenthal og Böllenborn
