Gaggenau er en by i den vestlige del af Baden-Württemberg, omkring otte kilometer nordøst for Baden-Baden. Det er den næststørste by i Landkreis Rastatt efter distriktshovedstaden Rastatt og før byen Bühl, og danner sammen med den sydlige naboby Gernsbach et middelcenter i regionen Midter-Oberrhein. Stedet fik i slutningen af det 19. og det 20. århundrede større betydning ved store industrilokaliseringer og fik byretten i 1922. Siden den 1. januar 1971 har Gaggenau været en stor krebsby.
