På stedet for den nuværende borg har der allerede siden 1131 været en herregård, som omkring 1478 blev ombygget til borg. Den nuværende herregård blev i 1755 bygget efter planer af Michael Leveilly af Maria Debèche.
Det toetagers hus med næsten kvadratisk grundplan ligger midt i en park for enden af en allé og blev opført i stil med et lille lystslot. Facaden af huset er inddelt af husene indrammede segmentbuevinduer. På det stejle mansardtag sidder en gavl med et ottedelt tårn. Indgangen er tilgængelig via en central dobbeltløbs trappe.
