Slots Allner ligger i Hennefer bydelen Allner på sydsiden af Nutscheid og ovenfor Siegbredden.
I 1420 nævnes den vandborg, der tilhører den adelsmand Arnold von Merkelsbach, lensmand for Vilich-stiftet og fra 1421 amtmand for det bergiske amt Blankenberg, for første gang i skriftlige kilder; han kalder sig her for første gang med navnetilføjelsen "kaldet fra Allner".
