Kloster Weißenstein var et kollegiat kloster, der blev grundlagt omkring 1137, fra 1145 et augustinerkloster, før 1184 et kloster for munke og nonner og før 1193 et rent nonnekloster nær Kassel. Det stod under beskyttelse af ærkebiskopstolen i Mainz og den hellige Martin. Før sin opløsning var der igen munke, der flyttede ind i klosteret. Det lå på stedet for det nuværende slot Wilhelmshöhe.
