Det kejserlige amt Erfurt eksisterede fra 1806 til 1814 og omfattede Erfurt og det omkringliggende land, inklusive grevskabet Blankenhain. Det stod direkte under den franske kejser.
Det kejserlige amt Erfurt, dvs. den tidligere kurmainziske Erfurter stat, blev sammen med herredømmet Blankenhain efter Preussens nederlag i dobbeltslaget ved Jena og Auerstedt underlagt som kejserlig statsdomæne under navnet provinsen Erfurt direkte under Napoléon Bonaparte, mens de omkringliggende thüringske stater tiltrådte Rheinbund.
