Montesquiu[1] er en kommune i Catalonien, Spanien. Den tilhører provinsen Barcelona, i regionen Osona inden for underregionen Bisaura, ved floden Ter og grænser op til regionen Ripollés. Den blev oprettet i 1934 ved at blive udskilt fra San Quirico de Besora.
Borgen Montesquiu er dokumenteret siden 1258. I slutningen af det 19. århundrede blev den købt af familien Juncadella, og den sidste ejer af familien gav den videre til Diputació de Barcelona. Befolkningen opstod i midten af det 17. århundrede langs den kongelige vej fra Barcelona til Puigcerdà. I slutningen af det 19. århundrede blev der installeret nogle industrier. I 1934 blev Montesquiu udskilt fra kommunen San Quirico de Besora, som den hidtil havde tilhørt.
