Poveda de la Sierra er en spansk kommune i provinsen Guadalajara, i den autonome region Castilla-La Mancha. Den har et areal på 51,7 km² med en befolkning på 131 indbyggere og en befolkningstæthed på 2,61 indb./km².
Poveda de la Sierra tilhørte det fælles område Villa og Terra de Cuenca fra den kristne erobring til det 12. århundrede og blev styret af sin retspraksis, hvorefter det kom til at tilhøre sexmoen Sierra i herredømmet Molina og var under kontrol af Dioces de Cuenca. Under den territoriale reform i det 19. århundrede blev byen, ligesom hele herredømmet Molina, tildelt provinsen Guadalajara.
