Artés er en kommune i Katalonien, Spanien. Den tilhører provinsen Barcelona i Bages-regionen.
Man mener, at navnet på befolkningen stammer fra det latinske udtryk Artium. Der er tegn på, at der i det 6. århundrede eksisterede en befæstet kirke i området, som fungerede som en primitiv bosættelse for områdets indbyggere. De arkæologiske rester fundet på stedet Matacans samt de romerske indskrifter fra det 2. og 3. århundrede fundet i Plaça Vella bekræfter, at der har været kontinuerlige beboere i århundreder.
