Áger[2] [3] er en spansk kommune beliggende i Noguera-regionen, provinsen Lleida, den autonome region Catalonien.
Byen Áger ligger i midten af den homonyme dal, i det præ-pireneiske område nord for Noguera-regionen. Áger grænser mod nord til Montsec-bjergkæden, mod syd til Montclús-bjergene, mod øst til floden Noguera Pallaresa og mod vest til floden Noguera Ribagorzana. Denne geo-strategiske beliggenhed, som en fæstning, vil have afgørende indflydelse på dens historie. Den højeste top findes i Montsec-bjergene, ved Sant Alís med 1678 msnm.
