Charron er en fransk kommune med 2.001 indbyggere, der ligger i departementet Charente-Maritime og i regionen Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Den tilhører arrondissementet La Rochelle og kantonen Marans. Indbyggerne kaldes Charronais. Charron ligger ca. 16 kilometer nord-nordøst for La Rochelle i Marais Poitevin og tilhører den regionale naturpark Marais Poitevin. Her munder Sèvre Niortaise og Canal du Curé ud i bugten Aiguillon. Charron er omgivet af nabokommunerne Puyravault mod nord og nordvest, Sainte-Radégonde-des-Noyers mod nord, Marans mod øst, Andilly mod sydøst, Villedoux mod syd og Esnandes mod sydvest.
