Chaumeil er en fransk kommune med 163 indbyggere i departementet Corrèze i regionen Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Derudover er kommunen en del af Massif des Monédières. Indbyggerne kalder sig Chaumeillois. Kommunen ligger i det centrale massiv i den sydlige del af Plateau de Millevaches og dermed også i den regionale naturpark Millevaches en Limousin. Derudover er kommuneområdet også en del af Massif des Monédières. Ved den østlige kommunegrænse løber Corrèze, samt dens biflod Corrèze de Pradines.
