Canet-en-Roussillon er en sydfransk badeby og en kommune med 12.284 indbyggere i departementet Pyrénées-Orientales i regionen Okzitanien. Byen Canet-en-Roussillon ligger ca. 12 km øst for Perpignan nær Middelhavskysten i en højde af ca. 15 m. Floden Têt strømmer ud nord for stranden i havet. Den sydlige del af kommunen grænser op til den brakkede, ca. 3 km lange og op til 2 km brede Étang de Canet-Saint-Nazaire, som også kaldes Étang de Canet. Klimaet er mildt til varmt; regn falder – med undtagelse af sommermånederne – fordelt over året.
