Brienne-le-Château er en kommune i Aube-departementet i det nord-central Frankrig. Den ligger 1 mile fra højre bred af floden Aube og 26 miles nordøst for Troyes.
Det var centrum for det middelalderlige grevskab Brienne, hvis herrer, først grever og til sidst hertuger, havde et krav på Kongeriget Jerusalem. John af Brienne, også kendt som John I, var konge af Jerusalem fra 1210 til 1225. Han var den yngste søn af Erard II af Brienne, en velhavende adelsmand i Champagne.
