Elzas-Lotharingen er et område i østfrankrig, der tilhørte det tyske kejserrige fra 1871 til 1918. Fra 1940 til 1945 var det besat af nazi-Tyskland. Det bestod af Elsass og den nordlige del af Lothringen, som er de nuværende afdelinger Moselle, Bas-Rhin og Haut-Rhin.
Betegnelsen Elzas-Lotharingen er noget forvirrende, fordi den største del af Lothringen, de franske afdelinger Meurthe-et-Moselle, Meuse og Vosges, ikke hørte til der fra 1871. Kun den franske afdeling Moselle var mellem 1870 og 1919 en del af det tyske Reichsland Elsaß-Lothringen som "Lothringen". Derfor foretrækker den franske regering at omtale de tre afdelinger, der stadig har en særlig status, som Alsace-Moselle. Formelt blev brugen af navnet "Alsace-Lorraine" i 1920, efter genforeningen med Frankrig, først forbudt.
