Spejlsalen er den mest kendte og besøgte sal på Versailles Slot. Den 18. januar 1871 blev det Tyske Kejserrige her udråbt, og den 28. juni 1919 afsluttede Versaillestraktaten Første Verdenskrig. Præsident De Gaulle, som mente, at Versailles var den perfekte illustration af Frankrigs storhed, afholdt regelmæssigt gallamiddage der. Salen er 73 meter lang, 10,5 meter bred og 12,3 meter høj og er en af de største sale i slottet. Den ligger på førstesalen på vest siden af den midterste del af slottet og flankeres på nordsiden af Krigens Sal og på sydsiden af Fredens Sal.
