Eden på Kaatsbaan blev aflagt lørdag den 20. juni 1789 i Versailles af næsten alle repræsentanter for den tredje stand og nogle sympathisører fra gejstligheden og adelen på initiativ af Jean-Joseph Mounier. Disse delegerede svor at ville forlade stedet først, når de som Nationalforsamling havde givet kongeriget en ny forfatning. Denne ville endelig blive vedtaget over to år senere den 3. september 1791, forudgået af den tidligere vedtagne Erklæring om menneskets og borgerens rettigheder. Eden var en afgørende begivenhed i begyndelsen af den franske revolution.
