Henley-on-Thames (HEN-lee) er en by og civil parish ved Themsen i Oxfordshire, England, 9 miles nordøst for Reading, 7 miles vest for Maidenhead og 23 miles sydøst for Oxford, nær trekantsområdet mellem Oxfordshire, Berkshire og Buckinghamshire. Befolkningen ved folketællingen i 2011 var 11.619.
Den første optegnelse om Henley er fra 1179, hvor det er registreret, at Kong Henry II "havde købt jord til opførelsen af bygninger". Kong John gav godset Benson og byen og godset Henley til Robert Harcourt i 1199. En kirke i Henley nævnes først i 1204. I 1205 modtog byen en pavagegave, og i 1234 nævnes broen første gang. I 1278 beskrives Henley som en landsby til Benson med et kapel. Byplanen blev sandsynligvis etableret ved slutningen af det 13. århundrede.
