Andeskojen tilhører Naturmonumenter. Med et areal på 30 hektar (den gennemsnitlige koje tæller kun 3 hektar) er det en af de største andekojer i hele Europa. Tidligere bestod den Store Otterkoje af fem kojepladser og sytten fangrør. I dag er der stadig tre kojepladser og ni fangrør intakte. Engang var skovene omkring andekojerne beregnet til at lokke ænder. Nu udgør de et hvilested for mange dyr. Under en sejltur kan du besøge den Store Otterkoje.
