Teylingen) er en kommune i provinsen Sydholland, nord for Leiden i Bollenstreek. Den 1. januar 2006 blev kommunen oprettet ved sammenlægning af de tidligere kommuner Sassenheim, Voorhout og Warmond. Navnet på kommunen stammer fra Slot Teylingen, en ruine i landsbyen Teijlingen i Voorhout, nær kernen Sassenheim. Derudover optræder navnet også i de tidligere kommuner Sassenheim, Voorhout og Warmond. Øst for Sassenheim og Lisse ligger en klitryg med navnet Teijlingen, der går tilbage til et rekonstrueret germansk ord *taglingja 'hale' eller 'smal, høj klitryg'; dette germanske ord findes også i det engelske tail.
