Velden er en landsby i kommunen Venlo i nederlandsk Limburg, omkring 5 kilometer nord for byen Venlo og 7 kilometer syd for Arcen. Det omfatter blandt andet de tidligere beboelsesskaber Schandelo, Hasselderheide, Hasselt, Solingerhof og Het Vorst. Velden tilhørte Overkwartier af Gelre eller spansk Øvre-Gelre. Under den spanske arvekrig blev det besat af preussiske tropper, og således forblev det som en del af preussisk Øvre-Gelre i omtrent et århundrede. Derefter kom det til Kongeriget Holland, hvor det blev fastsat, at grænsen til Tyskland skulle gå i en afstand af et kanonskud fra Maas. I 1830 valgte man den belgiske revolution, og ved London-traktaten i 1839 kom det til den Tyske Forbund, indtil hele området forlod det i 1866 og blev tilføjet Holland for altid.
