Capelle aan den IJssel, ofte også kort sagt Capelle, er en by og kommune i den hollandske provins Zuid-Holland, beliggende ved Hollandse IJssel. Kommunen har 67.255 indbyggere og et areal på 15,40 km². Inden for kommunegrænserne af Capelle aan den IJssel ligger der ingen andre kerner. Kommunen er opdelt i et antal bydele: Schollevaar, Schenkel, Oostgaarde, Middelwatering, Capelle-West, 's-Gravenland, Fascinatio og erhvervsparken Rivium. Kommunen er en del af samarbejdet i byregionen Rotterdam og metropolregionen Rotterdam-Den Haag.
