Mariapark, hvileplads for pilgrimme. På grund af den store tilstrømning blev basilikaen efter nogle år for lille til at rumme antallet af pilgrimme. Derfor blev der anlagt en Mariapark over for kirken. Et misvisende navn, for i virkeligheden er det et gård med indre have, omgivet af en neogotisk korsvejsgalleri.
Haven adskilles fra gaden af en bred forhal, en hvileplads for pilgrimme. Herfra har du udsigt til kirkens indre. Mariapark er et særligt fredet monument, hvor du i dag kan nyde en række aktiviteter og udstillinger.
