Zaanse Schans er et historisk Zaanse kvarter, der blev grundlagt i 1963 i kommunen Zaanstad, med derhenflyttede statslige monumentale træbygninger og industri-møller fra Zaan-regionen. I løbet af årene er det blevet suppleret med forskellige kulturhistoriske museer, håndværksbutikker og restauranter. Det ligger i Kalverpolder, et beskyttet tørvegræsningslandskab ved Zaan, overfor landsbyen Zaandijk. Dette arkitektoniske reservat for Zaanse træbyggeri er på grund af sin arkitekturhistoriske og landskabelige værdi et beskyttet landskabsbillede. Det har udviklet sig til en international turistdestination med et par millioner besøgende årligt: i 2016 var der 1,8 millioner, i 2017 2,2 millioner.
